The 2011 annual Summer Concert was held at Farragut triangle on June 22 in D.C., which has lasted 10 years and has attracted more than thousands of thousands of fans to join in.
Altus Du, the president of SAIA fraternity, invited all classmates to join in the event in respect of those conscientious and diligent ESL and international issues. After class at 3:50PM, 6 of 10 classmates assemble in lobby in Roma building. Because the Summer Concert schedule to begin at 5:30 PM, they decide to go to a pub and have a beer first. Atmosphere in afternoon is laid-back and there are only a few of customers in the pub, but their emotions are very high. They chat and share their experience in different areas, with such a relax situation, they really get a further understanding for each other. “Creatively, the different styles of background reflect the value of diversity in global society,” said Mr. Ian, who described the event we held in personal interview after a cup of beer.
Before 5:30PM, those students arrived at Farragut square park and the concert began on time. The organizer invited famous band, Cazhmiere, which is specialized in type of Dance and Top-40, to go on stage to perform. In the beginning, only a few audiences with the rhythm, but the vocalist has its own professional singing skill and public magic, the atmosphere of audiences are rising immediately. In order to demonstrate our spirit, Mr. Ian was incited by their classmates to dance solo in front of the stage. Suddenly, the atmosphere quickly builds up with a hail from crowd and forming a great intensity of feeling. All audiences stand up and dance with music, they all enjoy in the right moment. That’s the magic of music.
Ms. Bikka Mitya, one of the students come from SAIA, said she was particularly struck by the beat of dance, which is a potential power come from her deep soul. So she was so honor to joint in this grand music event.
With such high pressure during our daily life, people all need to take an appropriate rest to restore their energy. Listening to music maybe is the best way to relax. Why don’t you go outside with a couple of good friends and lie on the grasslands to enjoy the sunny afternoon and rhythm? 2011 annual Summer Concert is absolutely free and would be the best choose for citizen in DC. 這照片的重點，是小女孩吃的東西+沾的醬料！ 左下：小女孩拿potato chips(Honey "Mustard" flavor--有芥末)，繼續沾左上的"Nacho cheese dip"，吃完面不改色......右下，又給他Doritos的"Spicy" chili flavor（超鹹又辣），他照吃不誤.........最後又抓了中間甜死人的Chocolate cookies，我算過，總熱量只有600大卡........重點是小女孩只有2歲，媽媽就在旁邊看，不知道是小女孩太厲害，還是我過份大驚小怪？？？
這band叫CAZHMIERE，曲風是Dance類的，節奏感強，黑人的嗓子又嘹亮，真的.....專業

夏日午後若能享受煦煦陽光，與三五好友在草坪席地而坐吃東西聽音樂，這應該就是理想中的"美式生活"。上週跑步時經過Farragut station(17th street 白宮附近)發現每週三傍晚有免費的夏日音樂會，本週立即號召兵馬，在下午聽完布魯克林智庫辦的中國研究報告後，便一起前往參加，大夥於活動中又吃又跳，肢體都身展開了，只可惜不能在戶外喝啤酒，不然真的就100分了！
